"African Healer" Amaka Gift reveals birthday plans.

"Healer" is often a spiritual profession best described in its true sense mostly in Europe, America and a couple of other spiritually motivated nations of the world.
In an African sense, "Healers" are often not as identified as their counterparts in other continents as most of them are discovered to either be Pastors, Motivational Speakers, Counselors or rarely, practicing psychologists. However, I chose to celebrate a kind I consider a real "African Healer". One who independently brings peaceful inspiration to broken souls. She is deep with insights, hence an awakened soul seeking to ignite the fire of her divine connection to the human race, especially for the less privileged who survive through the empathetic kindness of people like Amaka Gift.

Amaka Gift is a fast rising gospel singer, Public Speaker and a ceremonial presenter. She has till date held speaking sessions in selected primary schools, as she continues to draw plans of visiting many more where she hopes to take the gospel to the light bearers of future generations.
She is a devoted Christian and a prospective Nurse. She arrived last, in a family of 8 who hails from Mbaise, in IMO State Nigeria.

Join the light, as she extends open arms of love with the children at the orphanage to mark her birthday. we celebrate with Amaka Gift as she celebrates her divine birthday on the 28th of August. She refuse telling us her age anyway. ??
See some photos of our "African Healer" She has taken me straight to the deep, feel free to follow her on social network @RealAmakaGift.
Happy birthday Amaka Gift.

The Media Director of POT OF AFRICA (Favour Ibex) Set to Mark his Birthday

Describing the glorious days of a gem, is never a finished story without excavating some inputs surrounding his formative years. Eze Chijioke Favour is a name that sends a jingle to most individuals and corporate bodies in Nigeria and West Africa at large. The River state born entrepreneur is the first in a family of eight, preceding 2 girls and 5 boys.

His primary education took him to Central School, Igwuruta in Ikwere Local Government area of Rivers State, before cross carpeting to Central School Inyishi, in Ikeduru Local Government Area, Imo State, where he obtained his first school leaving certificate.

He further enrolled into Premier Secondary school, Owerri, Imo State, as a boarding student, consequently coinciding with his parents relocating to Denmark.

In 2007, he attained his WASSCE, instigating his admission into Kwame Nkuruma University of Science and Technology, Kumasi Ghana, where he obtained a Bsc in Computer Science.

Upon his graduation in 2012, he reversed to Nigeria in an attempt to properly enforce a media and publicity company, which was formally established in 2005, during his days in Secondary School. Growing up, Favour has always had interest in computers and electronics, contributing to his vast knowledge in graphic designs and camera handling.

His quest for more knowledge in information technology paraded him at T-technologies Nigeria Limited, where he studied computer networking and programming in various machine languages including, Java, Oracle and many others.

However, in 2005, he partnered with his friend and colleague, Kingsley Orji to conceive and establish a blogging site, with the name POT OF AFRICA. Meanwhile, during his study days in Ghana, he made several tours to various West African Countries making series of rugged researches on the uses of POT in various ethnic African communities. Findings generated from the researches guided him in putting up the article below;

"In Africa, we have so much value for the pot, our gold, our cowry-shells, our sweet smelling oils, honey, edible clay, food items and so on are stored in the typical African earthen ware pot. Often, the cold water of African traditional households are stored and obtained from this pot, which is usually kept in dug cavities of the kitchen floor. The pot has been contrived to serve as a special music instrument called Udu (In Igbo Nigerian language) which belongs to the idiophone family.
Today, however, we are proud to make a dogged exploration of the pot in an African contest, showcasing its various uses and importance in African communities.
Now that the pot is treasure filled, POT OF AFRICA emerges from this metaphor to capture the attention of the world in a transporting mood, which contained the unhealthy impact of post colonialism that diverted our African societies away from this heritage, POT OF AFRICA".

Favour Ibex is idealistic and believes in innovative techniques for the achievement of his objectives, which state his vision of educating and entertaining through news, event-broadcast, documentaries, movies etc, while also advertising goods and services to the world with the objective of promoting companies, businesses, skilled and talented individuals, thus bringing them to limelight. This invariably makes his clients to believe in their worth.

In addition, today, Mr Favour, is a professional web and graphic designer, video and audio editor, director of photography, media consultant and publicist, currently working as a media director in POT OF AFRICA MEDIA AND PUBLICITY COMPANY.

S.Africa’s Desmond Tutu readmitted to hospital - DETAILS

South African Archbishop emeritus Desmond Tutu was hospitalised Tuesday with a persistent infection just a week after being discharged following treatment for the same ailment, his foundation said.

“Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu has been re-admitted to a hospital in Cape Town… He was discharged from hospital last Tuesday, and re-admitted this afternoon after expressing renewed discomfort. His doctors considered it prudent for him to return to hospital for observation,” a statement by the Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation said.

Tutu was first hospitalised for the infection on July 14.

The 83-year-old Nobel peace laureate also continues battling prostate cancer he has lived with for 15 years, but his foundation said the current infection was unrelated.

“(Tutu’s) daughter, the Reverend Canon Mpho Tutu, said the hospitalization was unrelated to his cancer treatment. His oncologist confirms that his PSA (prostrate-specific antigen) level is pleasingly low,” it said.

The foundation said the veteran rights campaigner would undergo bed rest while his doctors determine further treatment, and remain in the hospital at least through the weekend.

Tutu survived an illness believed to be polio as a baby, and battled tuberculosis as a teenager. He has been in and out of hospital for minor complaints since 2011.

Under apartheid, Tutu campaigned against white minority rule during the years that Nelson Mandela was imprisoned, and was awarded the 1984 Nobel Peace Prize for his work.

Officially retired, he is still outspoken on the world’s injustices, and is widely viewed as South Africa’s moral compass.

Others are the United Democratic Party in Rivers State; and the Peoples Democratic Movement in Sokoto and Zamfara states.

No reason was given by the commission for the action, which was made known via its bulletin. The commission did not also give the names of the affected candidates.

In a decision extract issued and signed by the Director (Commission’s Secretariat), Mr. Ishiaku Gali, INEC also approved that the only candidate for the House of Representatives in Ado/Opoku/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency of Benue State, be declared elected on the day of the election by the Returning Officer.

I will emerge Nigeria’s President in 2015 – Rochas Okorocha

The executive Governor of Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha, on Monday declared his intention to run for the presidency under the All Progressives Congress, APC platform.
He said in an emphatic statement, “I will be Nigeria’s President in 2015″.
This declaration was made at a rally organized for him by the Enugu APC at the Igbozurume Hall, in Emene, Enugu State.

According to Rochas, Jonathan is not an Igbo man and that the PDP-led government had consistently marginalized the people of the South-East.
Jonathan is not from the South-East, the Vice President is not from here, the Sen President, the Speaker of the House of Reps, the CJN, the IGP, the security chiefs, none of them is from the South-East he pointed out.
“Igbo people have no place in Nigeria, how can we say that PDP belongs to Ndigbo, Niger Bridge is 419, Enugu/Onitsha and Port-Hacourt Express way are all evidence of their hatred for Ndigbo; they don’t remember the poor, all our leaders in PDP are only interested in their pockets, they don’t care about our children’s education.
“We are angry and we said we have to come out; in Imo State, poor people are happy now, they study from primary to university without paying penny; our God passes their God, if what they are doing to poor people here is good, let them continue but if it is bad, God will uproot them”.

The Governor continued that, “In 2015, I will be the president of Nigeria, I have gone to Kaduna, I have gone to lagos, I am in Enugu today, they are already afraid; they are now calling for dialogue.“If they are discussing those contesting for presidency under the APC, Owelle will be the first, Buhari and then Kwakwanso; they said it was zoned to the North, I told our party, when did the meeting take place? I then also had to meet with my brother Ngige and we zoned it to Ndigbo.
“APC is an emergency party for new Nigeria, if PDP is doing well, I won’t have joined APC, when God wants to do something, he does it from anywhere, it doesn’t matter whether Nwobodo, Ken, Nwodo, Ekweremadu are with us or not. I heard that some of them are boasting of money but tell them that Rochas has come; any day you hear that PDP brought money with pick-up, tell me so that I will bring money with trailer, all these PDP leaders in South-East, if you put their money together, it is not equal to half of my money.
“Somebody told me that our party is popular in Enugu but that there is no money, I have come to Enugu today, you will see the difference, go back to your ward and campaign”.

In a remark, Senator Chris Ngige lauded Okorocha, who he said God had sent to lead Ndigbo in the battle for freedom, whereas other Igbo leaders were busy looking for oil well, Special Adviser and the rest of them.
“We liberated Anambra, Imo is liberated, Ebonyi is half, Enugu is nailed, we have to remove that nail; we have to uproot the PDP and free the people.
“We need to put APC governor here in Enugu; before now, no election takes place in Enugu, results were written in bedroom and hotels, it must stop”.

It might interest you to know that Buhari, Atiku, Gov. Fashola and The GodFather of APC himself - Tinubu were present at the just concluded wedding of one of the daughters of Governor Rochas in Imo State. Now the question is, how can all these great men who are supposed to be political opponents converge in one place for one man? Something is going on. 2015 is obviously going to be full of surprises but however, time will tell.

Let us pray for Nigeria.
