Kola-Bo born Ighodaro Osaze-Amayaevbo is a Song Writer, Sound Engineer, Drummer and a versatile Afro-Pop, Reggae, Dance Hall artist who hails from Edo State, the southern part of Nigeria. He is the youngest of four children of Late Col.(Dr.) & Mrs Osaze Amayaevbo.
He was born along with his twin brother Don Kora-D (who sometimes djs and act as his hype man) on 12th February in the city of New york, USA but grew up in Benin City, Nigeria.
After completing his elementary and secondary school education in Benin city, Kola-Bo and his twin brother relocated back to the USA in 2008. Kola-Bo, a nominee in the just concluded Nigerian Europe Awards 2014 is unsigned to any record label. He says he is passionate about music which has always been an important part of his life, since drumming and singing in the church choir from a tender age of 7.
He became an active performing artist in the Dallas Entertainment Scene in 2011 and has graced same stage with the likes of Timaya, Nateo C, Kelly Hansome, Davido, Kcee, Flavour etc. He also performed recently with international artists like T-pain, Kriko Bangz, Lil Boosie, K Mitchell and so on in the just concluded DFW DUBCAR summer concert in Dallas, Texas.
Over the years Kola-Bo has developed and evolved into an eccentric artist and a force to reckon with in the music industry.
Under his management company Sazee Musik Artistery/Zaime Media Entertainment, here is the much anticipated official single "OGELLE" and a viral video which was shot in Dallas/Texas, USA by Dominic and .
"OGELLE" is an afro pop tune with the gyration feel and sound which will keep party lovers and the clubs banging any day. "OGELLE" was produced by Beat of the South, Producer @Otyno and was mixed and mastered by Nigerian Producer/Sound Engineer TeeBeeO.
"KOLOBA" is a bonus track with a high tempo Electric Afro pop sound, the first of its kind and was produced by UK's Sound Designer/Producer Eminik. "KOLOBA" was also mixed and mastered by @TeeBeeO.
Plans have been put in place by his management team to shoot the official video for 'OGELLE' in a couple of weeks which will hit the airwaves in no time as Kola-Bo makes huge plans for a return back home.
